"Room / view/ staff and food were all wonderful !! I stayed in the south tower which had a wonderful rooftop pool / bar ..all the food was wonderful and the spa was fantastic and beautiful.. will definitely return "

"The hotel is modest and small and that is its appeal. The staff are regular and one can get to know them a bit. The rooms have everything needed and attentive daily housekeeping. The hotel enforces quiet hours (much appreciated). The onsite restaurant is good value. The grounds are very picturesque. The hotel is very pet friendly, providing pet beds and water dishes and lots of grass for the pet. The environment is peaceful. The location is close to stores for groceries, restaurants, and the beach. "

"We spent 6 wonderful days at Barceló and were so sad to leave. We will definitely be back. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. We especially appreciated the waiter Moises for his great service, and the entire entertainment team with Anahi (we loved the guacamole making class) and Fernando, who brought great energy with his dancing and poolside fun. Our biggest standout was Carlos at the Kids Club, with his infinite energy! He and his team made our kids comfortable and excited every day. We did not expect to use the kids club, but our kids loved it so much they kept asking to go back. Our 5 year old enjoyed crafts, painting, musical chairs, and face painting. Both kids loved piñata making, the Mario Kart tournament, and evening activities like the Mexican party with candy. The beach was beautiful, and one day we even saw a humpback whale breach five times in the bay. We went whale watching with the Jack Sparrow tour company at the hotel and the crew was fantastic. It was also fun recognizing the exterior, hallways, and pool from Apple TV’s Acapulco. Our favorite day was Mexican Day. The buffet was excellent with fresh fruit, juices, and Mexican food, and the show was great. Weekends felt bigger than weekdays. A few minor downsides: limited non alcoholic drinks, basic coffee options, language barriers at specialty restaurants, an extremely cold room with no HVAC fix, no do-not-disturb signs, very thick pillows, and slow disappointing food at the Kyoto restaurant."

"Great space for everyone, Staff was fantastic, food was delicious. Away from the hustle of the city but easy to get to a couple of smaller towns. Highly recommend. "

"First, the pictures of this house do not do it justice. It is gorgeous in every sense and was more beautiful in person. We lived in the outdoor spaces when we weren’t sleeping- dining in the terrace, hanging out at the pool(s), or on the pool deck watching the ocean with a cocktail or coffee. The host, Jose, was very responsive and timely in responding to my questions before and during the trip. He had some excellent recommendations for dinner but told me Fide and Carmelita’s cooking is so good we would not want to eat out. He was right and only ate out twice in five nights! Breakfast and dinner was so fresh, delicious, and filling we skipped lunch every day. The amenities were great, the house cleaned daily, the air conditioners worked wonderfully when we needed them and the staff was so attentive. It was a sad day when we had to check out. We will miss Fide, Carmelita and Rogelio. We also made friends with a taxi driver at the base of the hill and he became our personal driver for the whole trip for excursions to PV city center, golf, airport. Jerry was amazing!"

"We loved our stay. The views are phenomenal. We love listening to the ocean 24 seven. The rooms are open area and bright. Clean and amenable! The owners are also very kind and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there! We look forward to another visit when we return."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at beautiful Casa Castelli!! After getting out luggage, we exited the airport to our transport to Casa Castelli. Our driver was very pleasant and got us there in no time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Alejandra and the staff who made our vacation delightful!! All questions were answered and in no way did we ever feel they intruded on our privacy. The Casa is as beautiful as the pictures show. We did avail the services of the Chefs. The meals were delicious and the food was plentiful!! I wouldn’t have changed a thing!! Alejandra coordinated some trips and taxis for us. All in all I believe our family would give the house and staff a 10! "

"Views are breathtaking! The house is very spacious. Multiple levels allowed plenty of space for our group of 8 to spread out when needed. There are windows with great views everywhere (but make sure your group knows when you hop in the shower). Air conditioning worked very well in every room. Kitchen appliances are high end and even include a standalone ice maker! Host was easy to communicate with and prompt in responses/helping. Important to note that the house is not walkable and you need to make friends with taxi drivers. Also important to give yourself extra time to guarantee rides up & down the hill. WiFi wasn’t critical for us so it didn’t matter much, but it was very slow & didn’t work in all rooms. The infinity pool is beautiful but not suited for pool toys or floats. Hot tub was a great way to spend the evening. Plenty of pool towels provided. Only 4 lounge chairs but it wasn’t an issue for our group as there were always some enjoying the water. You may even get a visit on the pool ledge by some local wildlife. "
