"As a family of 4, we had 2 pool side rooms. The rooms are definitely showing their age but were comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a bit of a musty smell. The rooms were clean but not perfect. The wifi was reliable and we were able to use it in our rooms. Staff was friendly enough but not great. Not all guests were treated equally. "

"We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and its wonderful Mexican charm. Everything was well taken care of with excellent staff that did everything possible to make a pleasant stay. Another good point was they didn't inflate the price because of the Easter weekend. We were shocked by some. Will definitely return if we need a few nights between or on either end of our winter stay. It's not a 5star all inclusive but a nice secure Mexican hotel on the beach. Ocean view is fantastic. "

"The view from the pool and patio is outstanding! But for the high price, property description and great reviews, we expected this property to be luxury but it leaned towards backpacker hostel, at least for our room which is Arbol and up the spiral staircase (it may be called Diabolito 1 in the description online). It should be more clear up front that some rooms have air conditioning and some do not, so the customer knows to look at the details of each room before booking, as we were surprised and disappointed that ours did not. Our room had some panes of glass missing from two windows with no screens, and there was a large (5 inch wingspan!) moth in the room when we arrived. There was mold on the shower curtain. However, the bed was comfortable and the view from the room stunning. The pool was dirty and many tiles were falling out and pool lights dangling in the water from their wire. The continental breakfast is only toast with jam and fruit. (But the view from breakfast is amazing) There is no coffee in the room and it is not available with breakfast until 8:30 which is much later than we would like and there are no coffee shops nearby. "

"We had a really great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. The location is excellent—just over a very walkable bridge to Zona Romántica, which made it easy to explore while still enjoying a slightly quieter setting. The staff truly stood out: warm, friendly, and always going out of their way to help with anything we needed. The cooked-to-order breakfasts were another highlight—fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day. Our room had a beautiful view over Centro, including the iconic church, which added a special touch to the experience. All in all, a fantastic stay in a great location with exceptional service."
