"Our stay was fantastic! The staff was great and the property really clean. We had a newer room on the top floor. The newer section of the building has a view that is slightly more northerly than the other section of the building, so we had to look more sideways for a true sunset view, which was a bit disappointing. Still a beautiful view, just not quite what I was expecting. The 16th floor also requires you to carry an elevator key to access the floor, which was a pain. I wouldn’t stay on the top floor again for that reason. The pool area isn’t huge, which is nice as it never felt crowded. At the same time, it was hard to find a chair if you came in the afternoon. The pool temp was perfect and the staff made sure everyone was well taken care of. Some of the staff was friendlier than others, as expected. The restaurant’s were decent. I don’t think we had a bad meal. As I imagine with any all-inclusive, after a week, you get a bit tired of the same menu options, even when the menu switches every day in a cycle. I was disappointed we never saw the Asian menu at El Mirador the whole 9 days we were there. The cafe is amazing. The baking (conchas!) was great, paninis and smoothies custom made, and the staff all really friendly. I didn’t go until part way through our trip and wish I had stopped in on day 1! My biggest complaint, is that the constant expectation for tips was exhausting. All-inclusive would be better if I didn’t have to carry money with me all day long. "

"Older facility, but very clean, on a great stretch of beach. What makes this place great for a family vacation is the very friendly, attentive, hard working staff. Every person I dealt with during my one week visit was nice. I always felt I could get what I wanted, and I would return to the resort."

"Room was ok, bathroom not so good, looked dirty to me when we got the room. Dark stains everywhere. Besides the bathroom everything was good. Friendly staff. Good food, and property was clean. Family friendly resort, happy with my stay On another note, I booked with the idea that the hotel was “ all inclusive” however we were given two “coupons” that gave us access to TWO exclusive restaurants; my stay for 4 days. The Asian restaurant was okay, mar y Tierra was delicious and came with a stunning view BUT I was declined a soup and salad. The waiter made me choose one or the other. So much for all inclusive. "

"Overall, this all-inclusive stay was underwhelming. The rooms and bathroom felt outdated and lacked space, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. The pool and outdoor areas were limited, leaving very few spots to relax and hang around if you are a group of people. Cleanliness was also a concern, especially in the public restrooms near the pool areas, which were not well maintained. The food was just average, with limited variety and not many appealing options. If you’re used to the standard all-inclusive experience in Mexico, this property does not quite meet those expectations."

"The Hotel Mio Adult Vallarta side only is wonderful due to no kids. The staff are professional and friendly. Their breakfast is ok, I feel there breakfast needs some improvement. There rooftop pool area has a beautiful view with plenty of shaded and open areas. It cost about $5. bucks to go to old town Malacone area by taxi and or Uber. Bring ear plugs due to peacocks that live in the trees next to the hotel. They make early morning noise. I wore earplugs and I didn’t hear them, and also for some street noise. Restaurant are not some much in this area but there is some if need."

"Mainly stayed in the resort and did the Boat tour and the Port was very close so made it very convenient! Recommend going to Los Arcos and Colomitos beach - but snorkeling in March was not great! Air conditioning was good and the all inclusive Bar options were great! The pool was water was lukewarm to warm so was a different experience and definitely bring a tumbler with you as the drinks stay cooler or the plastic cups were filmsy and ice melted fast! The food was fresh and local which made it an experience - just don't compare it to the more elite resorts! We had some great tacos during the Fiesta but they only had 2 main restaurants and 1 bar snack. The smaller more private area with only 3 reservation slots for 3-4 time increments was okay - we got it each day we wanted to! The main thing is there is no elevator which was a little hard at times, and there was no coffee maker or even just water heater in the room if you wanted to have a morning drink if you woke up early or needed to leave for the airport. Also either do everything through Expedia or through the hotel website - we paid way extra keeping some expenses at the hotel directly! Overall was an okay experience and staff was very very friendly! Can't wait to try out their sister property and still visit again - just learned a lot after my first stay!"

"We enjoyed the stay nice rooms everything was walking distance. Clean room staff was great. The seafood restaurant on the corner was delicious. And the taco stands at night. "
