It was a fantastic time to stay in Hampstead with Oak & Poppy! The facilities are authentic and modern, with very quiet surroundings so we had a rest very well. We would definitely like to come back here for the next holiday.

We stayed in a top-floor triple room at the Croft Court Hotel for the Shabbat of July 11-13. On foot, it's close to plenty of shuls, but not to as many restaurants or shop as some other accommodations. By bike, bus, or car, though, getting around to those shops or restaurants won't be a problem.
The hotel is just a couple of bus stops from Golders Green Station, and another minute or two down the street, so getting there by public transit is quite convenient. HOWEVER,...

「Awful stay - felt like something halfway between a frat house & student dorm - noisy roudy people coming and going at all hours running through corridors shouting and screaming, banging doors, loud music being played late at night - almost no soundproofing and hard to get a decent uninterrupted sleep. To couple it off one of the staff members extremely rude objectionable and argumentative - when I asked if it was possible, after 5 days, to have a fresh towels told me that I should go wash them...
"The bed cushions were great, and I felt very comfortable. As a Japanese person who is not very good at communicating in English, I felt reassured because all the staff spoke slowly to me.
I wanted to enjoy my first meal in London outside the hotel, so I didn’t use the food options. I received sweets and sparkling water through the greeting service, and they were delicious!"
