"Really good location for beach, sealife & Lgbtq venues. Hotel itself is a little creaky being an old building. The room i was in was close to ventilation system so wouldnt be good for light sleepers (but ear plugs were provided). Cleanliness couldnt be faulted, attention to detail in the rokms was great, spitless kettle, clean crockery, shiny shower etc. Check in wasn't the clearest but after waiting at the bar for a few minutes a friendly bar tender greeted me and took me through to reception. Easy check in and nice stay. Only 1 quip - the shower randomly drained a few times during the night (probably a pressue thing) did freak me out a little but again an old building will have a few quips. "
