"A Perfect Birthday Surprise – Thoughtful and Welcoming Stay I booked Arden House as a surprise birthday treat for my sister, who is currently going through house renovations, so she really needed a relaxing break away. It turned out to be absolutely perfect. Communication from the host was exceptional from the start. I was able to reserve parking in advance, and they were so warm and welcoming when she arrived. They really made her birthday feel special. The Superior room was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean, with beautiful natural light from the large windows. There were such thoughtful touches waiting for her, including a handwritten birthday card, sweet treats, a fruit bowl, plush towels and dressing gowns neatly prepared on the bed. It felt personal and genuinely caring. The location is excellent for exploring Arundel, and breakfast was very good as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Arden House. A lovely, friendly place that goes the extra mile"

"Clean room, although milk wasn’t in a fridge so tasted sour by the morning. Toiletries enough for one person not two. But smelt lovely. Breakfast wasn’t included in the price. It was £30 pp added on top or in the bar & grill £17.95 for a full English or £12.95 for avocado & egg on toast which is reasonable. Breakfast menu was quite basic but free range which was very nice. Service from all staff was very good, friendly, and attentive. Beautiful grounds and hotel. We didn’t use the spa or pool but it looked amazing. "

"I just can't say enough nice things about this place. Absolutely immaculate room, SUCH a comfortable bed - I know that can be subjective, but both of us had our best night's sleep in the UK here. Well appointed and spotless bathroom. The property itself is interesting and lovely, easy parking, beautiful outdoor patio, and our room had a private gazebo where we could relax and enjoy some tea or wine. We had both dinner and breakfast in the (again spotless) pub. Breakfast was a treat, with a wide array of choices - my poached eggs were perfect, and very obviously farm-fresh, with bright yolks. Dinner was also spot on, we invited our UK friends to dinner with us, and all 4 of us found the food tasty, prices reasonable, attentive service from friendly staff. I should especially mention the staff - professional but easy, friendly, accomodating, we both felt welcomed and quite at home here, and even though they had plenty of guests we still had personal service to the letter. Both my spouse and I already talked about coming back, and our friends who drove in from Bournemouth for dinner said they'd love a romantic getaway weekend here in the summer. This place was a real highlight of our trip, A+ would stay again."
