"Hiro is a real hero! He made our stay so special and an unforgettable experience. We had some travel delays and then extended our trip and he has been so flexible with everything and even gave us a ride to the train station! The place is spotless, good internet, the kitchenette made all the difference with home cooking and it's a central but quiet location. 10/10 for sure!"

"Brilliant location and close to the top spots we went to see. Quiet neighborhood by the river. Suite was large and luxurious. Lovely bouquet, complimentary wine, and confectionary on arrival. The kitchen was well equipped, with a microwave too. Washer dryer in Japanese language, but staff helped us. Easy! Concierge services were also exceptional. Excellent Michelin star restaurant reservation on the same day."

"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "

"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

"Very relaxed stay. Short walk from station or book a taxi for a small fee if you have luggage. Ruriko-in temple and Mt Hiei cable car station is very close with lots of hiking and walking trails. Dinner was very nice and staff were super friendly. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Koichi and all staff for making our stay an enjoyable one."

"Wow - we have just checked out from a 1 night stay at this Yoshida Sanso and we were truly amazed at both the place itself and even more so the lovely people that looked after us so well! "Extremely clean and spacious rooms. Located in more of a park setting near the exhibition hall. Very easy access to the underground which is very clean, efficient and reasonably priced. Approximately 20 minutes from station to Kyoto downtown and JR station. The rooms themselves almost have a bit of a retro feel but in new condition. Very peaceful and tranquil rooms and nice bathrooms. Would definitely recommend. "
