The japanese breakfast every day was truly memorable, and the coffee shop on the property was beautiful as well. I could not recommend more, 10/10 stay, worth the price! "We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "

"Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again."

"Lovely hotel in a quieter part of Kyoto but very close to amenities and to various attractions including Heian Jingu Shrine, Yasaka Shrine. Also in walking distance to Gion. Reception staff are friendly, the room and bathroom are a good size and are clean/well-maintained They have a laundry room which is really helpful The hotel is also 2 minutes from the Higashiyama metro station and about 10 minutes from Sanjo station so also conveniently placed for any day trips Would definitely recommend...
