The location of the hotel is perfect! The room itself is very nice. However, there was never any staff at the front desk. We were emailed a manual on how to use the washing machine, but our machine was different than in the manual, and it was difficult to figure it out. Also, the water in the shower was hard to figure out. There were no instructions on that, and once we figured out how it worked, we never figured out how to get warm water, so we had to shower with cool water the whole time we were there.

A great stay right in the heart of Kyoto. Conveniently walking distance to everything you need. Nice big rooms, a great shower and great amenities. Friendly and helpful staff also. Highly recommend.

Clean, modern, friendly and helpful staff. The only negative is the mattresses were a little on the hard side, didn’t really bother me but some people might have an issue with it.
