"If you want to see what it’s like to live in the great city of Edinburgh when you visit, then this top floor flat near the Meadows is ideal. We enjoyed the proximity to the tourist aspects while enjoying the neighbourhood amenities (coffee shops, best fish and chips, groceries, close bus stops, good restaurants nearby). "The flat is cute and close to the mile It is up a steep alley way, so not good for people with mobility issues. We immediately realized the instructions to turn on the boiler and heater were incorrect; (after calling we found out the switch is on the kitchen counter and not the bedroom closet). There were a few local restaurants and bars hidden amongst the apartments, within walking distance of many main attractions, and easy to find. The only thing I’d tell Americans, it’s the 2nd floor apartment (which is 1st level in Europe)."

"We’d never visited North Berwick before, but were blown away by the beautiful landscape. The beaches are great, sea is clean and the town is bright and has all you could want. The apartment has everything you could need. It’s spacious, has beautiful decor and has everything you need to feel like you’re at home. "It was comfortable and well equipped. It was generally clean but not deep cleaned. Example: the shower drained slowly and the drain not cleaned properly; kitchen washing up brushes needed replacing; the outside of the windows were not clean. "This hotel was amazing. It was very modern and very clean. They even upgraded me to a deluxe room, which had more space and windows. It was very roomy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I couldn’t believe I could find such a nice room at such a great price right in the Royal Mile. You have to be careful which ibis you go to since there are two just a block away, but they obvious are used to people’s confusion as they instantly asked to see my reservation, anticipating I first went to the wrong room (which I did). I still don’t understand why no hotels have Kleenex available, but it’s all of them."
