ãA very traditional hotel, with amazing views of the bay.
Food options limited for vegetarians and vegans, but good breakfast menu.
The hotel furnishings show some signs of wear, but its position with garden and steps down to the beach outweigh that.
The afternoon tea looked great.ã
ãExcellent. Nothing bad to report about this hotel.
Very clean and spacious room and nice, comfortable bed.
There is a huge car park and one EV charging point (un-tethered) which I didn't use on this occasion.
Can't report on the restaurant as we didn't eat there.ã
ãLovely hospitality and wonderful time spent for a few days to unwind. The hosts were really lovely and ensured a smooth and relaxed stay. Close to touristy activities. Would highly recommend ð ã
ãIt was clean and quiet plenty of parking easy to find the only down side was there was no welcome pack in are room it turned up the the day before we left but we will be going back great place to stayã
ãWhat a great little hotel with fantastic staff.. I had two types of water in my room and ground coffee, organic tea bags. Lovely gluten free, dairy free welcome cakeã
ãIt was a very pleasant stay. The hotel staff all treated me with kindness and hospitality. It was a short stay to visit Durdle Door and I had a great stay thanks to them. Thank you very much!ã
ãA beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well! ã
ãA lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.ã
ãFantastic stay lovely hostess really went the extra mile to make our short break very special.
Excellent breakfast and the surrondings were all in keeping.
The room was very comfortable and quiet.
Central location in Dorchester with all its history & museums and some really nice restaurants in easy walking distance
Also a good base if you're exploring the surrounding area. You have Corfe Castle & Swanage within an hours drive.ã
