"We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Down Inn. The staff were friendly, our room was comfortable and clean, and parking was easy. There was a good choice of food on the breakfast menu and the cooked dishes were well cooked. If anything there was a bit too much food, but that's a personal preference. We appreciated the fact that there were a selection of cold options (such as cereals and yoghurts), continental (croissants) and a number of different cooked options. We ate in the restaurant one evening and there was a good pub style menu available. Our bed was comfortable and we slept well with no disturbances from outside. The location was good as the inn is on a relatively quiet country road but with easy access to Bridgnorth (10 minutes max) where there is a good choice of restaurants. We would stay here again and would recommend to others."
