"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was pretty, overlooking a lovely garden. Only one problem, there was a leak in the en suite. Staff brilliant as was the food. Wd definitely come again. "

"We only stayed for one night, in room 10 on the ground floor. Lovely view over the garden, which with the weather been kind we could sit out in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, nicely cooked and plenty of choice. We didn't really find anywhere to eat in Hereford city centre with it being a Saturday night so I would advise booking something if in a similar situation. Ended up in the Rose and Crown pub (Green King) about 5 minutes walk away, which was just ok."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Lion . We had our own car parking space . The breakfast was outstanding . Very hot plenty of it and delicious. The only downside was they didn’t do meals in the evening. But they are ready to recommend places that do great meals ie The Old Castle. We would definitely stay there again."

"The room I had was a bit strange, very little space in the bedroom, but a large bathroom - strangely with a tiny shower cubicle. Still, the staff were friendly and the bed comfortable. I was staying here for business, so only serving breakfast from 8.30 on a weekday meant that I wasn't able to take advantage of the included breakfast. I heard one other guest with the same issue whilst I was there - maybe worth a rethink?"

"The Priory was a delightful find situated in the Herefordshire countryside about 4 miles from Hereford. We stayed in one of the self-contained apartments which was both comfortable and well-equipped. The owners were very helpful and responded very quickly to questions we had pre-arrival including a recommendation for an evening meal at the Bell Inn in Tillington. "

"The White House was easy to find, with parking outside. Our hosts were lovely, genial and very welcoming. Our ensuite room was warm, comfortable and homely. The complimentary welcome tray was the best I've ever seen with lovely homemade cake (huge slices!) 2 small bottles of wine and 2 bottles of water. "Brandon Lodge is a very comfortable, clean and tidy place to stay. We had a garden room and although it’s off of a main road it was very quiet. I slept very well. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. We hope to stay again later in the year."

"Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day.
