Lovely place. Lovely, clean room. Bed really comfy, and tea and coffee facilities ideal too. Check in and check out super easy, and hosts really friendly and welcoming. Exactly what we needed after a busy family visit day.

We were very impressed with the apartment, it has been beautifully and expertly created in a very old property and offers modern comforts
Stayed in the Scudamore apartment for a few days. The property is easy to find with plenty of parking. Easy access and both Nadia and Claire were very helpful when we wanted to extend our stay. The apartment has absolutely everything we needed, very comfortable, clean and tidy. The shower is excellent and milk tea coffee were provided as well as the very much appreciated mini jaffas. Will definitely stay again.
The Priory was a delightful find situated in the Herefordshire countryside about 4 miles from Hereford. We stayed in one of the self-contained apartments which was both comfortable and well-equipped. The owners were very helpful and responded very quickly to questions we had pre-arrival including a recommendation for an evening meal at the Bell Inn in Tillington.
I can’t fault anything, in any way. I loved my stay, and was everything my peers had described prior to my stay. I only wish it was less busy so I can stay there more! 😊
The host, location, building decor, room, natural views, quietness, food, comfort, everything. I will return when I can find a vacancy.
Thank you.
Fantastic setting and room. Wonderful host and delicious breakfast!
Only slight gripe (which is why I can’t give five stars), was the v slow and weak signal WiFi…
May have just been the room I had, because the signal seemed ok downstairs and in the communal areas.
We've started before and The Property is still excellent.
The only small criticism is the fire escape light that is very bright and shines in the bedroom and along with thin curtains makes the room light at night.
We were visiting elderly friends who live nearby so the lovely, quiet location near Hereford was ideal. Our room was comfortable & clean with a large bathroom & walk in shower. We were initially shown to another room with a smaller bathroom but the owner was happy to change us to the room we had booked online. The house was beautiful, especially the huge breakfast room where the lovely owner cooked our breakfasts in front of us. We had chosen what we wanted the night before so there was no wastage at all. The produce was all from the local farmers market.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Didn’t sleep very well due to the layout of the bedroom, the green light from the fire exit was directly by the bed. Ended up sleeping down stairs on the sofa husband slept on the floor. Other than that the accommodations and location was lovely, but not sleeping well had a big impact on our stay.
A really nice room, very comfortable and quiet with a view out of the garden and fields. Breakfast is tasty and cooked fresh with good coffee and juice. Chris is very friendly and welcoming. Will stay here again.
Beautiful little apartment! Great quiet location, not far into town or hay on wye. We had a self catering apartment, but on arrival we were pleasantly surprised to have a small bottle of milk, tea coffee & even an afternoon treat (Cake & Biscuits) a very nice touch! The apartment was lovely and clean, well stocked with high quality toiletries, which you could also purchase at the reception, also a very nice touch. The place had everything and more than we were expecting (kitchen foil, cling film, pans, fairy, tea-towels) etc (not all self catering places include these essential things) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Positives: A very nice property with pleasant views of garden and meadow from bedroom. Good service. Clean and nicely decorated room.
Negatives: Bedside light was not useful for reading in bed; The ensuite bathroom had no shower connections; The Wifi connection was poor and intermittent; but worst was we could hear everything in the bathroom of the next bedroom, including a very loud fan - we concluded there was just a thin partition between room and the next bathroom.
Excellent service and welcoming staff. Accommodating for business users and very efficient for late arrivals. Comfortable, clean and cosy. Nice, quiet location but good access to main routes.
