「Overall this is a very pleasant comfortable cottage. Our one criticism, would be not enough crockery, why install a dishwasher when you need to wash after every meal. Surely having a dishwasher is so you can wash a large load in one go, thus saving water, and energy.A few more different size plates would be useful.Otherwise very satisfied, lovely and quiet patio, comfortable bed and seating.」

「The property location was perfect, and beautiful. Lovely local pub to walk to. The house was nicely decorated and had a homely feel. However the smell of damp dog was overwhelming, which didn ’t suit us! Additionally the bedding smelt damp, and the towels of stale smoke. So it was necessary for me to do a couple of loads of washing during our stay. 」

「Fabulous location, comfortable, well equipped property.
Perfect for multigenerational dog owning family, with a large secure garden and scenic footpaths from the door. Plenty of car parking.
Spacious bedrooms all with modern en suite bathrooms.
Only drawback was the squeaky floorboards upstairs.
Memorable week, would highly recommend.」

「We stayed at the Old Pumping Station whilst visiting family. Such an unusual building, refurbished to include a lot of original features. Very comfortable and a lovely location with a field opposite to walk our dog. Ideal. The host has thought of all the things to make it a home from home. It's small, but has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful area.」
