"Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home."

"We had an amazing stay. It is a great location, close to all of the restaurants and shopping around the marina. The lounge/kitchen area is nice and spacious, and it was great to have laundry facilities."
"The place was spacious and 1 minute walk to the beach ,at the beach there is a lot of stores , so the place is very convenient,
My only concern is the towel change and the Appartment cleaning is only once per stay , this need to be more , with going to the beach everyday and sand all over cleaning need to be everyday or at least every other day ,
Other Alhan that , I really recommend it"
"Location is great, central but quiet. Rooms are clean, spacious, everything you need. Check in is at a different hotel about 2-3 minute walk.
Also note no cars can drive in old town so be prepared to take luggage across."
"Location was excellent, and the property was clean and looked lovely. Communication wasn’t great, the booking states check out is noon (12) yet we had staff banging on the door at 11 asking us when we would be leaving, apparently they changed check out time after covid… well I’m not a mind reader?
The room looked great however the large rug was a major slip hazard as the Velcro underneath has lost its stick, at least one of us went flying every day, and the wooden floors meant we were kept up...
"We did a 2-night stay at Evans House II and it exceeded expectations. The amenities are great especially the full kitchen and jacuzzi. The location is great, not too far from the main tourist areas. Communication was hassle free during the check in and check out process. Highly recommend! "

Very friendly and helpful staff. There is only street parking, but not hard to find, behind the hotel area. So many restaurants right there. Drove to the most famous Cretan beaches, but the local beach is also very nice. very picturesque. We could see the lighthouse from our window.

We spent part of our honeymoon at La Maison Ottomane and it was exquisite. It is hard to imagine a better place to stay in Chania. There are three rooms and a small courtyard: everything is carefully curated, luxurious, well designed and thought-out, but also unstuffy. The Ottoman theme is faithfully executed, but not at all cheesy or overbearing. We were upgraded to an enormous duplex suite because of some small maintenance work in the room we had originally reserved. However, the other room...

These are hotel style suites but there is no formal desk which is nice. The rooms are large with large showers and the balcony is large enough to sit for coffee/ wine. This hotel has a high rating for a reason.
Service is excellent! We left early last day and found a bad of sandwiches, fruit and water waiting for us upon checkout. Breakfast is good and abundant. Bar staff is friendly and gives great service. Only thing I would improve is size of the gym but still it has a lot of gear.
Will be staying again.
