"Malmo is a great location for a stay in Chania. Old town Chania is beautiful and carries a lot of charm, and Malmo lets you access everything with a short walk. The windows are double-glazed to block out almost all noise. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. The buffet breakfast is located on a rooftop balcony, with a small but choice selection of foods to enjoy in the quiet morning sun. The staff were very helpful. My wife and I purchased grapes from the local flea market, and the staff offered to wash and plate them for us to enjoy on the balcony. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which came with a beach basket and towels which was a lovely edition. If we returned to old town, we would definitely pick Malmo again."

They even took the topper of the mattress bc my brother in law needed the bed more firm. Breakfast was incredible. I felt like I was in a resort with the choices we had. The only minor complaint I have is the lights in the room were a little too dark for me. But such a minor inconvenience and only bc I have poor vision."

You need to be able to carry your luggage as the taxi can only drop you outside the old town area and you have to walk to the hotel and with no lift again you need to carry your luggage up the stairs. But if you want to go on holiday and be in the heart of a Greek old town we would really recommend this lovely hotel. Also the hotel is run by a local family that have owned it for a long time and go out of the way to ensure you have a nice holiday."
