"Great location with kind and helpful staff. Enjoyed the whiskey tasting at the bar!"

"Easy check in, room was big and clean, balcony was nice. Bathroom was a good size."

"This was a lovely place to stay however we stayed on the road side and it did get a little noisy at night."

"Love this place! Quiet and room was bigger than the other hotel we stayed at"

"Amazing property! Loved it so much that I stayed two extra nights. Such a serene respite from frantic movement of tourists just outside the walls of the hotel. I can’t say enough about Hotel Seiryu. I will definitely return soon."

"Great hotel and location"

"Amazing stay"

"Very authentic hotel and the staff are extremely helpful and kind. The onsen was wonderful."

"Everything about this place was outstanding, there is nothing I would change about our experience at the hotel. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was a delight with so many special touches. The dinner and breakfast were so delicious. We would highly recommend a stay"

"It was nice but a little on the smaller side. The front desk people were very nice and tried there best to help."

"The staff here is outstanding! The room was cozy and romantic and the location was perfect!"

"Great stay and hospitality at The Kizashi Suite. The Japanese mix with western style room was very spacious and had good warm feeling to it. The location was perfect in between the Higashiyama on the left, Gion right at centre within and Main Shopping district within 5-8 minutes walk. The Host was very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended it and will return again. This is a great place to stay to feel the Kyoto hospitality, a balance between Ryokan and Modern style"
