"It’s very nice and roomy, easy to check in with a friendly front desk, you will need a code which they emailed ahead of time to check in, when arrived we have been told that we need to pay 300 yen per person per day for tax to be paid at check in which seems to be pretty common in Japan. You will need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, there is a family mart just beside the hotel, about 15 mins walk to the central city, bed are on the smaller size but comfortable,overall it’s a great stay. "

"This hotel lived up to its description. Spacious room, comfortable bunk beds that even teenagers enjoyed, a washing machine in the room was an added bonus. The daily free breakfast in the lounge was just right for gaining energy for the day. The lounge was open until midnight so we could enjoy the drinks and coffee as a family after a long day sighting. All the staff were super helpful and were able to guide us with recommendations. Worth it when traveling with a family of 8 or solo."

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel and our room were very clean and in excellent condition. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept well every night. There was some street noise but no problem with earplugs. (I am a very light sleeper) The staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful. The location was also excellent- close to the river and train station and walkable to the Gion district. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"
