This hotel was great, we appreciated all the small details. The soaking tubs on the roof were an addition we didn’t expect to love as much as we did. Breakfast was unique, but very good and satisfying. The rooms are nice and well equipped.

Very kind staff. They were very helpful in securing restaurant reservations on our behalf. The room is very nice and has a modern Japanese style. I especially loved the outdoor onsen (can be reserved).

Higashiyama Shikikaboku Was one of the best parts of my vacation. It offered beauty and relaxation after exploring Kyoto all day, which is exactly what I needed. The hotel room had everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home. The staff were the highlight of the stay, they are amazing people. They made sure we were well taken care of and were just genuinely warm and friendly. They were very very helpful and professional. Best hotel experience I’ve had so far! My husband and I enjoyed their healthy breakfast menu as well as the architecture and interior design. We are excited and cannot wait for our next stay at this hotel!

Above and beyond

**Hotel Review: Kyoto Excellence** My stay at this Kyoto hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. Located in an excellent spot, it offers convenient access to Kyoto's top attractions while maintaining a peaceful ambiance. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, setting a new standard even among the five-star hotels I've visited in renowned cities worldwide. What truly stood out was the service. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality were unparalleled, making me feel valued and well-cared for at every turn. The hot spring experience was a highlight of my stay. It was out of this world and incredibly relaxing, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Kyoto. The serene environment and soothing waters were rejuvenating. Breakfast at the hotel was a delightful experience, featuring Kyoto specialties that were both delicious and beautifully presented. Each morning was a culinary journey, offering a taste of the local culture. Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. Their exceptional service, outstanding amenities, and prime location make it a perfect choice for anyone visiting Kyoto. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an unforgettable stay.

The hotel was in a peaceful location of Kyoto very close to the Philosophers path and surrounding temples. The roof terrace and complimentary happy hour drinks was a wonderful edition at the end of long day of sight seeing to soak up the views and relax. The breakfast was excellent - a perfect balance of fresh vegetables, baked bread and fruit and yogurt. And the staff were so helpful with local restaurant recommendations. Would definately recommend
