"Great location"

"The Penguin Hotel was super comfortable. The ocean view is very minimal, but still a very beautiful view nonetheless. The bed was SO comfy! There is a lot of street noise, but that’s to be expected. It’s in such a great location, everything is so walkable! The ac worked great and kept us very comfortable. The only thing I wish it had was black out curtains, other than that, the stay was amazing."

"Great stay for a quick trip to South Beach. We were cruising the next day so we just stayed for one night. Close to nightlife. Clean room. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Worth the quick trip. "

"Nothing at all an they take forever to get your vehicle"

"The room was pretty awful - hotel is in a great location which is the saving grace for this place. If you don’t want to spend ANY time in the room, just crashing at the end of a long day…then maybe this place could work. Otherwise try somewhere else. Just a few items which were awful about the room - peeling paint everywhere, spray painted tile in the bath surround, nasty looking tiled floor with very black and dirty looking grout, tacky fridge placed in the corner of the room, no coffee, rotten woodwork…basically the place needs a complete remodel. The courtyard directly outside of the room was much more pleasant than the room itself. We would not stay again."

"Nice property but very expensive for food and drinks. It was the start of spring break so alot of RICH kids hanging out. We discovered ants in our Hotel drawers and requested to change rooms. They accommodated us with a suite with a limited up-charge. Great pool area and beach access. Staff was usually very accommodating."

"I'll start with the good then the terrible. Great locations, friendly staff, views, beach access. Terrible.. They put me in an ocean front room that had two small windows, then corrected it. Toilet would not flush the whole trip! maintenance had to constantly return to plunge it, Fire Alarm went off in our room and the staff was not even aware! my wife went down 4 flights of stairs in a bath robe for them to tell her her no Big deal, probably your shower water was too hot. when the maintenance guy came in to turn off the blinking F/A strobes he continually laughed and said "it's no big Deal" to my wife while she was still humiliated! from running down in a robe to a lobby full of guests having a good time thinking she as crazy. No Privacy! On 3 occasions staff walked in our room (knocked while they had already opened door) once wife was nude, once I was in bed the man walked in and said "Oh Sh*!" and walked out, no apology, we never knew why people kept trying to come in to our room, Our stay did not feel safe and clearly the place needs a visit from the local fire marshal. After we complained multiple times, manager Noura S. offered us a compilatory drink for our inconveniences. Place is a Great location, with the price tag I expected much more. "
