"We don't often stay at resorts. This truly is one. I have nothing but kind things to say about the Eden Roc. Their room was very nice. The two on-property restaurants we ate at were outstanding, with friendly servers and great menu selection. (As a parenthetical note, there are not many ocean-side restaurants in Miami Beach. Their Ocean Social restaurant truly overlooks the beach and the ocean; we watched people, waves, and ships pass us by as we enjoyed a sunset dinner.) We both had mani/pedis at their spa, and these were some of the best we have had anywhere. The property gave us a 20% voucher off this service -- I do not know if that was an Expedia benefit or purchased with our reservation, but it saved us $40. We purchased their two-breakfast package as part of our reservation, so we had hot breakfasts every morning at their Nobu restaurant. Their breakfast buffet has everything you could want, and it took real discipline to pass by the breakfast pastries (cinnamon rolls, bagels, doughnuts, muffins, breads, and croissants). Their omelet bar was speedy -- never a long line -- and their hot and cold selections let us enjoy some variety every morning. I think the breakfast for two would be ~$90 once the service fee (22%) is added, so that was a real savings. I recommend parking in the surface lot next to the hotel ($20/day) instead of using valet (~$68). The walk is less than 200 paces from your parking space to the front door."
