![The shimmering, jewel hued waters of the aptly named Emerald Bay was a sight for sore eyes. By far the best view in Lake Tahoe! My only regret was not packing my swimsuit.. or a decent pair of walking shoes to hike down to Vikingsholm.

The front desk lady seems wasn’t that happy for her position to work there. Literally no welcome or anything no little chit-chat while doing the check in or so she’s just look like AI or better yet the AI much better. Stardust Lodge
Super close to the Gondola, room super clean, staff amazing and super friendly. During peak times, it can be overly expensive for what one gets, but that's true for all of South Lake Tahoe.
