Glorietta Bay Inn Coronado Island

"Overall, the properties was one of the better places that we have stayed in Coronado. A few things that we noticed, but did not break our experience included an odd mattress that felt like there was no springs and I immediately sunk into, we had an accessible shower, which is totally fine, but the water leaks all the way from there out to the kitchenette, the Wi-Fi wasn’t great, but during the middle of the day it worked well. The last thing was the TV was not very responsive to the remotes. There was resort freeze that I was not aware of when booking that came out to about $40 a day. Overall, though, the location is amazing, the breakfast was different each day and I could tell that I have been freshly prepared. The staff were kind and genuinely helpful.. We come to San Diego every year and we will likely stay here again."

El Cordova Hotel on Coronado Island

"My stay at El Cordova Hotel was disappointing. The main issue was that there was no hot water in my room for more than 24 hours. Taking a shower or using hot water was simply impossible during a significant part of my stay. What made the situation worse is that the hotel staff appeared to be aware of the problem, yet guests were still checked into affected rooms. While staff members apologized, there was no meaningful effort to resolve the situation promptly and no fair compensation was offered for such a major inconvenience. Being told that a plumber would eventually come was not a solution, especially when it became clear that repairs were unlikely to happen quickly. When you pay for a hotel, basic amenities like hot water should be available. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. The lack of communication, limited response from management, and absence of adequate compensation left a very negative impression. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience and would think twice before staying here again."

"Hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub area is pretty small but doable as long as a large amount of people do not all show up at one time. Our family visits Coronado yearly and this was our first stay at this property. It is closer to the bay side of the island but not a bad walk to either the bay shops or the main shopping district on Orange Ave and the Beach. We would recommend this property for its location and affordability."

"Property was great! Everyone was so nice and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotels offers wonderful room upgrade options! The staff made it a very special and memorable occasion for my wife and me. Thanks again"
