"The location was great. We have stayed at Pirates Cove several times and love being on the sound. We saw dolphins from the deck and caught crabs from the dock. Having a great restaurant and bar on site is a plus. The house is nicely decorated but we found the furnishings to be lacking. The sofas in the living area are small and not comfortable for relaxing. The beds are mattresses placed on bed frames with no foundation. Low to the ground and not very comfortable. None of the bedrooms had...

"We had a great stay! We've been coming to the OBX for about 25 years, and have stayed at pretty much most locations in the area, but always off-peak or at the end of the season ( mid-september or March) This was our 1st during the peak season, and, with all the crowds, this was a perfect area to stay for that time. Family oriented house, quiet location and still very close to the main area and restaurants (15 minute drive away) ... better beach at Oregon Inlet area just a 10-15 minute drive...
