"Shore Relaxing is an amazing place. The house is absolutely beautiful and in a great location. We spent time hiking False Cape State Park (VA)...we found a gate to enter from NC. We also explored the Currituck Beach Lighthouse Park/Maritime Museum and hiked Currituck Banks Preserve. The wild horses made daily visits which excited, cautiously, our dog Roscoe. We look forward to a return to Shore Relaxing and would recommend to family and friends."

We had to call maintenance twice (5 day stay), the king bed was hard as a rock, no extra pillows and it was pretty outdated. The AC worked though! The only negatives were the beach cart needs to be replaced and the listing corrected to explain exactly what dates the pool would be open and heated. Other than that, it was very pleasant. "Everything was really great with one exception. Had no sheets on top floor master bed, and none in the home. Was told by the property manager to contact cleaning service which we did. Cleaning service said property manager had been told no sheets in the house for that bedroom and expected some to be dropped off. I guess the drop off didn't happen. Property manager gave us a $100 credit to get sheets at Harris Teeter, a 1/4 mile away, but Harris Teeter doesn't sell sheets, so we didn't have them...

I did see a horse trying to munch on a plastic cup (it had been there for a while it seemed) that was outside between the garage and house, and nudge the trash can.
