It was so wonderful to wake up and open the balcony and watch the ocean,, it was the first time we stayed in a beach front view. ... loved it so much we are thinking about doing the time share.. out of us staying at Barrier Island twice and Ocean Pines once,, this time at Ocean Pines with the room we stayed in ,,this time was the absolute best... Can't wait until we get to come back,,,and I really hope we get the same place. We love going with our children. And hopefully soon ,,with the grand babies.💕💕

Communication could have been smoother for an after hours arrival that was noted in the booking, but check in was super easy when we got there. Place was tidy and had everything in the description. Comfortable (firm) mattress. Parking was incredibly convenient and easy. Lost key charge is $100, which is excessive.

The pictures posted on Expedia are EXTREMELY misleading. The oceanview is only a tiny gap between two buildings. The accommodation is dated and smells like it too (old and stale with cockroaches). When I asked the property manager about it, they claimed that it was Expedia's fault for posting inaccurate pictures. You do get what you pay for accommodation at this property, but the location is unbeatable. Minus the less desirable accommodation, you are only steps away from the beach, which is extremely convenient. For that reason alone, I will come back to this property.

The staff was friendly. They had some activities going on to win a free week for next year but you can't bring the ducks in after the office closes at 5 and there's no way to let them know you found more ducks. The office doesn't open till 10 which makes harder for people leaving first thing in the mornings. The place could use a good cleaning too. Cobwebs all over, trash on the bedroom floor, dead bug in one of the beds, the mattress covers really need replaced they are gross and covered with other peoples hair.

The building is older and the couches can use some cleaning. Other than that, everything else is fine. Clean beds and towels. I would recommend booking the bay view or ocean front view if available. Overall, Its a decent place for it's price point.

Unsure at first but turned out wonderful. I had read many of the reviews before arriving and wasn't sure what to expect. First, check in information was a bit confusing so I called the office a few days before and the office staff helped clear everything up. I learned that the office wouldn't be open on the day we arrived and the staff member provided me with all the information I needed to access our rental. With her information, check-in was simple and easy. Upon arriving at our rental, we were greeted with a view of the sound; which we loved and really enjoyed during our stay. I had read that some people stated that the rentals were dated and our rental had a few dated items but overall we saw many things had been updated. The rental was less hotel aesthetic and more family vacation hangout. Large table area for eating and playing games as well as a tv area. Also it was well situated with easy access to Duck or Corolla and the beach. Just be prepared to do stairs as the rental is on stilts and multi-leveled just like almost all rentals in the area.

We had an outstanding stay. The resort itself and the area is just perfect for a timeout from everyday stress! Loved the hospitality of the team: Amanda, Sterling and Justin - a great trio that is always making sure, everybody is happy :). Issues were taken care of quickly, professionally and super friendly. We had a unit with ocean view, which was amazing. The unit itself was clean and light. The kitchen furniture is a little outdated, but has everything you need for a comfy stay. The rest of the unit had nice modern furniture. Very much room and a spectacular view! Will definitely come back again in the future.

Our family had a great stay and plan on returning next year. Having a full condo with being right on the beach made our vacation so much more relaxing. Staff was friendly.

The property is out dated. If you are looking for something special this is not it. The carpet is in very bad shape. The kitchen is good. The bedrooms are a good size. The fact that it sleeps 6 makes it more reasonable. There are lots of stairs. The kitchen and living room are on the third floor. There is plenty of parking. It was also quiet.

The rental had many stains on the carpet and what looked like burns as well. The master bedroom had water stains in the ceiling near the sliding door. Some of the walls in the rental showed more water stains. The floors squeezed on the top floor. You could here footsteps throughout the rental whenever anyone walked across the floor. The walls between the master bedroom and the adjacent rental are thin. You could hear the renters next door talk. The rental needs some repairs to bring it up to standards. Check-in was quick and Amanda was very pleasant to deal with.
