「The location was great. The room was clean. The staff was wonderful.」

「You get what you pay for. We were pleased with the kitchenette. The room and beds were clean. It fitted our budget for a few days at OBX. Again, you get what you pay for.」

「My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay here! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained from the moment we arrived. The grounds were beautiful, clean, and had so much outdoor space to enjoy. We loved being able to walk around, take in the scenery, and use the bikes available to ride around Manteo! It was such a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. Every staff member greeted us and was so welcoming. We especially want to shoutout the staff member who was working Friday morning (7/17)....

「The shower door would not stay shut. The parking lot was in bad repair. The back building where we stayed was very old and in bad condition. No elevator!」

「This place was worth the stay. Really great people all the way around. Breakfast was great and snacks all day. Would definitely do this again.」

「Great property located within a short walking distance to the ocean. The hotel has a private walkway right to the sand. The property is set off the main road and has an antique feeling. Very quiet and peaceful. If I had one recommendation, it would be to relocate the television so you can view it from the bed. It was located inside a cabinet and when you open the doors to expose the Tv, the doors obstruct the view from the bed. Otherwise, great stay.」

「Great location. They ran out of towels for two days and they only gave us 3 towels for a family of 4. That should never happen at a Holliday inn. People need clean towels no exceptions on that. Breakfast was ok. Rooms were clean. Great location.」

「I just left here on Friday! We stayed in one of the cottage rooms. It was cute but needs updating and a good thorough cleaning! The shower head had a spray leak and one burner on the stove didn’t work after it sparked at us. When I told the manager he asked if the other burns worked, I told him yes and he told me your ok then! I was not expecting the ritz but I expect owners to look after the place better!」

「Our room was never cleaned during our stay. All we got was clean towels and coffee restocks. The breakfast was good, nice selection each day with waffles available every morming. Pool area was clean and hot tub was hot. Overall, we'd stay there again.」

「Friendly staff. We had a lot of rain one night and the window and ceiling leaked really bad. There was sand in the bed as soon as we got in it. Also sand on the floor we couldn’t walk without shoes. Was very helpful when we got in super late though.」
