"Felt front desk unwelcoming and not friendly. Check in and check out. We were on the last leg of our trip and all night long someone or something walked the top floor above us ALL night. Didn’t sleep at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place. So disappointed. "

"Perfect size for two of us and a dog. Cozy cabin was very comfortable. Kitchen was fine. No washer or dryer so you will need to pack the clothes for the time you are there. Hosts were very nice to us and we have already booked for next year. Two key features that we liked. The place was private and located on a no-through street so traffic was limited. Some of the other roads in Ocracoke have way too much traffic-even in April. However, the best thing was the location. It is a short walk to the harbor, dining and shops. There is a golf cart you can rent but really the best bet is to take or rent a bike and get a little exercise. Unless you are driving out to the beach you should never need to use your car."
