「Immediately upon entering found a cockroach in the house. Reached out to host and she could careless. Told me i needed to sweep it up and dispose of it. Took a chance with a different vrbo because our normal spot was taken this trip to havelock and boy did everyone in my party regret it. This house is beyond gross. Every single person with me asked multiple times about the normal place we rent and how this one was much worse quality and the house being gross. Not to mention all the shotty work...

「We just needed a place to stay that was inexpensive and not on the street. The guy who checked us in was really friendly, that was a plus. Another plus is that they have showers at this hotel instead of bath tubs. They also have outlets in the wall so that you don't have to bend over to plug anything in. That's really nice. 「Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Our room refrigerator had leftover melted ice cream in the freezer which is still there by the way, we left it. We had a very sticky rusted trash can in the area to use.The fold out couch was very uncomfortable to use and we had to ask for sheets and pillows and make it ourselves to use it. Room wasnt cleaned our first morning even though we left before 11am. Came back to a dirty room with no clean towels but when I asked for clean towels someone...

「The staff was nice. There was no air circulation in the room. The room wasn’t humid but it was damp and smelled musty. Apparently it used to be a very nice hotel but due to financial issues it declined and is now considered a very low end hotel. When I first arrived, the elevator reeked of MJ.」

「This hotel is very, very nice. Clean, comfortable, modern and just a short 10 minute walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. Additionally, the staff (in particular Medina, Sydney and Jake) were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Absolutely wonderful experience. Looking forward to a return in the very near future. 」
