This is a traditional Bed and Breakfast, which we enjoyed very much. The decor was lovely Victorian design with so many treasures to appreciate. Our room had a collection of antique samplers dating from 1729. The bed had steps because the mattress was so high. Breakfast was lovely and the other visitors were friendly and interesting . I had forgotten how wonderful real BNB s can be. Thank you

The owner was cheerful and pleasant; check-in was a breeze. Remember, this is a B&B in a nineteenth century home, not a glitzy hotel. The breakfast selectins were numerous, and delicious.

The house is lovely, with a huge collection of antiques. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom amenities were extensive and fit the vibe of the house perfectly. We enjoyed meeting other guests in the sitting room while enjoying delicious homemade cookies and sherry. Joe and Camille were very gracious, fun to talk with and accommodating (we had a schedule hiccup which they fixed in a heartbeat!) And the breakfast menu was extraordinary; if I lived in New Bern, I’d stay there overnight just to enjoy one of the dozen or so gourmet options.

Great B&B in a wonderful town
This is an amazing place. The hosts are fabulous. Terrific breakfasts. Great location. They do everything possible to make your stay a pleasant one. I highly recommend it and hope to return the next time we are in the area.
