"Hey everyone, we had a fantastic time in Salvo. I’m not here to compare real estate, but the house, although a bit dated and in need of a few minor fixes, was overall fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were clean, and the hot tub was great. It was conveniently located between a couple of beach access points, making it an excellent value for the price. No complaints at all. I highly recommend checking this place out.Additionally, I spoke with the caretaker about the older reviews regarding the mattress covers and the non-functioning A/C. Those issues had all been resolved—the A/C was ice cold, and the beds were fine. We saved a lot of money by cooking dinners and breakfasts. Finally, the WiFi was flawless and parking was a breeze! "

Being able to listen to the waves while in the hot tub at night was perfectly relaxing, the high-end amenities made us less homesick and the location was both private and yet ideally suited for a trip to Manteo or down to Avon.Can't wait to return."

"We had trouble with the heated pool, which we paid an extra 500 for. We messaged them on Monday and never recieved communication until Friday. Also we couldn't use the TV by the hot tub since it was on a different wifi which we did not get the password to. There were 2 broken faucets and the grill was disgusting and onky 2 burners worked..we communicatec thos all through email and never got a response."
