"Hotel was exceptional with very warm staff members who make you feel at home, to a traditional, old school Japan that we craved for, to a very delicious traditional Japanese breakfast! I just wished, I was able to reserve for a traditional in-room dinner ahead of time as they ran out of spots. Highly recommended!"

"At the behest of a friend, I checked our family into a ryokan (traditional inn) for our maiden trip to Kyoto. The Japanese hospitality of the staff, traditional breakfast every morning (server to your room), your beds made daily and sleeping on the mattresses on tatami flooring and public bath are good experience. "

"The market is a 3-minute walk, plenty of good dining options and souvenirs. We loved the Ryokan experience, this was a huge room compared to our Tokyo's hotel room. The Japanese tea experience in room, and then the Japanese breakfast were outstanding. Great experience."
