The room was beautiful and clean. The staff were lovely! I loved the Japanese style breakfast we had! It was really nice that they also had activities, I was able to participate in a green tea ceremony. It was close to shopping and food nearby. I love to stay here again.

Super Ryokan in Kyoto

Wonderful Ryokan with lovely owners. Great room and staff. Enjoyed the tea ceremony, Japanese breakfast and public bath. Definitely recommend in a nice quiet bit of Kyoto.

This was our first ryokan experience and everyone in our family loved it. We ordered special vegetarian breakfast for us and it was delicious, and served in authentic Japanese way. This is such a lovely hotel, it being clean and staff are friendly. We were completely immersed into the Japanese culture where we were offered the typical Kyoto breakfast (there is a small fee to pay for breakfast ) and experienced the tea ceremony. The hotel also offer free 2h walking tour and a 30 min Koto performance.

The staff were truly amazing! Not only did we have a wonderful ryokan experience, they offered a beautiful tea ceremony and a koto musical performance. They greeted us with a smile and showed us tremendous kindness. We loved it.

An absolutely amazing ryokan with excellent staff, a beautiful downstairs area, delicious breakfast and powerful A/C in the summer. Very comfortable mattresses and a generally relaxing atmosphere. Cultural activities available daily and very friendly hotel folks to help with your every question and need. My 9-year old son and I loved staying here. Highly recommend!

This place is great, it was our first time staying at a ryokan. The staff’s hospitality and service is 10/10. The futons were very soft and comfy. A lot of space in the room. Only downside for us was it’s kinda far from the station so just a lot of walking. Will recommend!
