"I can’t say enough positive things about this motel! The property is in the perfect location right on the beach and close to everything. The property has also been renovated, the rooms are nice, clean, and I loved all the outdoor seating and grills guests can use. I also loved that the property is so dog friendly and everyone who worked there is extremely helpful and friendly! This is definitely our new go-to spot for relaxation! I highly recommend!!!!"

The rooms and service were great, and the location right on the water in downtown Manteo was perfect. Manteo has a charming downtown that offers plenty of shops and attractions without feeling too touristy. We also really enjoyed the light breakfast offerings each morning and the staff were so friendly and helpful."

"The manager was friendly when we arrived. The parking is a little tight, but we managed just fine. The rooms are fairly sound proof, or I had respectable neighbors lol only would hear dogs barking. The beach access was what brought me to this location for our large dogs that love the beach, saves me so much time cleaning my vehicle after!! And a hose to conveniently clean off before going onto your apartment. I would recommend a little heavier blanket to throw onto the beds as the sheet and top blanket were thin and I’m a cold person that likes to wrap up in a blanket while the AC cranks a cool 66! The ac worked very well too. Will definitely be rebooking here again when we plan our family trips with the dogs."

"I was disappointed in the hotel. There needs to be a lot of upgrades. The hallway carpets were in bad shape. The bathroom, even though it was clean, the shower stall needs to be replaced. The balcony flooring painting was peeling and needs to be redone. The elevator didn’t feel safe and was dirty. Overall, the entire hotel needs to have a major facelift. I don’t think I’ll be staying there again."

"Our 2nd floor room was beachfront. The Nags Head Outlet was within walking distance as well as a huge "beach" store. The Sea Foam is an older historical motel that was recently sold. Yes, it is in need of repair and updating, however, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and decent water pressure. It fit our needs. Word is that the new owners have big plans."

"Our room had pretty textured walls and beautiful artwork. The furnishings were also high quality. Its a 3 minute walk to the beach, and within a few minutes drive of a mini-mart, ice cream place, and some restaurants. I couldn't figure out when checkout time was, but another guest told me 11am. Also the doors have # codes on them so you can check in without seeing anyone. But the insides of the doors don't have slide locks, so we were worried about someone being able to enter if they found out the code."
