Apartments in Madrid Chamartín Station for Rent

"Do NOT be fooled by the A/C listed in the amenities, it is completely useless to you as a guest. The apartment uses a centralized system controlled entirely by building management, meaning you have zero ability to adjust it yourself. When we arrived, the temperature inside was a sweltering 28°C (84°F) with the HEATING on. In the middle of summer. We had no way to turn on the A/C, no way to cool the space down, and when I complained, the host offered absolutely no solution whatsoever. This is...

"Ok, so...the property needs up-dating, a little wear and tear, the kitchen needs to be better equipped and the curtains don't quite fit. But, it was clean, comfortable enough, really secure, I mean, there are four locked doors, therefore four keys to enter apartment. The locality/neighbourhood is real Madrid, ie. not touristy. Metro is minutes away. Any staff you do meet are friendly and helpful and the Wi-Fi works."

"Comfortable accommodations near the stadium"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was very clean, comfortable and in a great location."

"I never leave reviews because most places do what they're supposed to. But I felt compelled to warn future travelers so I can sleep at night. We were a group of 12, but this listing could only comfortably sleep about 7. The loft is accessed by an unsecured wooden ladder and sits on a platform with no railings. Upstairs, the mattress is on the floor with almost no headroom (you can't even sit up unless you're under 6 feet tall). The bed frame below the loft had a collapsed center support (we all...

"The unit was clean and had all the conveniences we needed. The communication with rental was terrible, I emailed them 3-4 different times to the addresses listed during and after the rental. I rented on VRBO but another company handled the booking and possibly a third company manages it locally. No one responded. I tried to change my rental dates before the deadline to change it and no one responded so I spent a lot more than I planned and left the unit empty for days without recourse. "

"Overall we had a pleasant experience in Madrid. The pictures on line aren't exactly what we experienced, for example it was a different lounge suite, no decorative pillows etc. The kitchen was not cleaned sufficiently and there was bread left over from the previous guests. Although ok, a little attention to detail would be better..eg. clean pillow covers, door sticks to get in - we found this out after we couldn't get back in."

"Great location by a main subway hub. Close to multiple grocery stores and restaurants in extremely nice part of Madrid. Place had plenty of room for our family of 5. Sara was very quick to respond with any questions I had, was very helpful with our check in and made the check out extremely easy. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Madrid. "
