"If you want to disconnect from everyday life and breathe fresh air this would be a cabin to consider. Nice scenic drive once you start driving thru the mountain. Very well maintained complex perfect for families or couples with a restaurant/bar with excellent food. Has a pool, tennis courts, basketball court, chapel, pool table/ hockey table. Close to town which is another nice area to visit. Prices are reasonable and will be returning soon."

"We had a lovely stay at Jay’s property. The place was clean, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. Jay was great to work with, very accommodating, and made everything easy. It’s a short drive to town and had plenty of room for our dogs. We had dinner and drinks at the Idyllwild Brewpub—definitely a must-go. We’d stay again."

"We were at Strawberry Creek Inn, a sister property of Idyllwild Inn. Right behind the property is Strawberry Creek and a path next to it is a nice shady 10 minute walk to the main part of town. Perfect since our goal was to be out in nature and leave the car behind. (We did need to drive a short distance to get to trailhead for Ernie Maxwell Trail, which was a great hike, as well.) Across the street from the Strawberry Creek Inn is a small community dog park/run where you can let them off-leash. The hotel didn't charge extra for having a pet, which is nice. The room was pleasant and the bathroom had a jetted tub. We stayed one night and have no complaints. We would recommend it. But if you want to be directly in town, their main property, Idyllwild Inn is the choice you want. Be sure you know which property you are getting because we accidently went to Idyllwild Inn to check in, not realizing we were at the other location. We were very content with our spot, though."

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the Bluebird. The room was spacious with all the amenities we needed, would have been nice to have additional blanket since it was a bit chilly. The bed was a bit slanted so I was rolling off the bed. Easy parking, about 20mins walk into town and 5mins walk Mile High Cafe (dog friendly).Would stay there again."

"Loved the Mountain View and the outside sitting areas. Also like being just a short drive from town yet felt like we were in the woods with privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Did not see a hot tub? Was in the listing but we did not see one - but it wasn’t important to us. "

"It was an awesome place. Perfect for our family! Beautiful, spacious, close to town, and a great place for pretty walks and hikes. We took our two kids, their spouses and 6 grandkids. We had a fun, memorable weekend. And I was amazed by how many games you have there!"

David came by to help us with the operation of the Jacuzzi, that our family enjoyed. The house is large, beautiful with multiple decks and amazing views. It's a short drive into town. We thank the hosts for the treats they left us for Valentine's Day."
