"We stayed for 3 nights in the Dream Suite. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The bed was huge and comfortable, the room was beautifully furnished, and the bathroom was huge. Did not expect but was delighted by the nice little touches they added like the robes (heavy and thick) and little disposable slippers to protect the hardwood floors and make footfall sounds quieter. They also include a little coffeemaker in each room so you don't have to wait til breakfast for more coffee. The Continental Breakfast was wonderful each morning. They offer pre-made breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, and the amazing bagels and scones came fresh each morning from a local bakery. On the last day we were there, the bagels were still warm when we cut them open. Also Kerrygold butter and the cutest little jars of jam and honey. Also in the lobby behind the bar counter is an icemaker and a microwave for guest use. The lobby is clean and quiet, soft jazz playing throughout. Lots of comfortable seating throughout the property. The staff is around but you usually don't see them so they ask you to text them if you need anything. We never needed anything extra while there but I enjoyed knowing they were around. Close to the center of town, only about a half mile, means lots of restaurants, cute little shops, and galleries worth exploring are right down the road. And check out the Nature Center, too! This property is gorgeous. Look no further in Idyllwild for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay."

And walking in and seeing the place was magical! We didn’t need to ask for anything as it was all there!! "Only major disappointment was not having air-conditioning. The first day arriving and it was in the 90s inside even with fans it did not cool down and it was very uncomfortable trying to sleep. We live in the Desert and our spoiled with the comfort of AC and it can be 110 outside but all good in the house. Our second day with the windows open at the right time in the mornings and evenings we weren’t as miserable. I was disappointed that the back little studio that was supposedly a yoga room was padlocked. I would’ve done some stretching back there. The spiral staircase is dangerous. It should have something hanging down to avoid hitting your head on the wrought-iron. Also would’ve been nice to have a hammock and some comfortable loungers on the back deck. All that wooden stuff is just in need of sanding to avoid splinters. A walk-in shower would’ve been easier than a claw tub getting in and out of. But it was doable. The king size bed very comfortable. I love the location. I have friends that live on an adjacent street and over the years have always walked past this cute little cabin and was always curious who lived there. I understand it was an artist at one time. Sad to see some critters have eaten away at that beautiful bear carving.All in all, it was a nice getaway! We always enjoy our favorite little mountain community of IDY. A perfect choice for my birthday weekend."
