"This is our 3rd stay at Boulder Creek Lodge and it was wonderful. Warm this trip but at this altitude it was easily tolerated.As promised the mater bed has been replaced with a new and more comfortable bed, but the rest of the cabin is just the way we remembered it. "Our family loved this cozy cabin home and its beautiful, quiet location. However, there were two things that would've improved our four-night stay. Firstly, complete sets of basic kitchen items such as plates, glassware, and eating utensils are needed. We found ourselves constantly washing the few we had, ready for their next use.Lastly, in offering such a beautiful place to be out in nature, it would've been nice to have found the outdoor areas clean and ready for our use. Instead, my husband and I worked on removing cobwebs (they're everywhere, of course!), dusting, and cleaning the barbecue. They sound like many complaints, but the rest of our stay in this casual, cozy family cabin was perfect for us and we'd like to go back sometime."

"We had such a great stay! The house had so much space and was perfect for our girls’ weekend. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone, and we loved both outdoor decks. Everything was clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The driveway even fit all four of our RAV4s! The neighboring houses are a little close, so we were mindful of noise, but it wasn’t an issue. The host was also super friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall, we had a perfect weekend and were so happy we booked this house!"

"Only major disappointment was not having air-conditioning. The first day arriving and it was in the 90s inside even with fans it did not cool down and it was very uncomfortable trying to sleep. We live in the Desert and our spoiled with the comfort of AC and it can be 110 outside but all good in the house. Our second day with the windows open at the right time in the mornings and evenings we weren’t as miserable. I was disappointed that the back little studio that was supposedly a yoga room was padlocked. I would’ve done some stretching back there. The spiral staircase is dangerous. It should have something hanging down to avoid hitting your head on the wrought-iron. Also would’ve been nice to have a hammock and some comfortable loungers on the back deck. All that wooden stuff is just in need of sanding to avoid splinters. A walk-in shower would’ve been easier than a claw tub getting in and out of. But it was doable. The king size bed very comfortable. I love the location. I have friends that live on an adjacent street and over the years have always walked past this cute little cabin and was always curious who lived there. I understand it was an artist at one time. Sad to see some critters have eaten away at that beautiful bear carving.All in all, it was a nice getaway! We always enjoy our favorite little mountain community of IDY. A perfect choice for my birthday weekend."
