"Staff is extremely helpful and aim to please. Although often appears to be hoping for a tip. Rooms design are frustratingly inefficient. Not enough drawer space, a useless armour that had no rod to hang anything, and no shelves or drawers. We kept out shoes at the bottom. . Not enough hooks to hang robes or wet towels. Bathroom has no drawers at all so all of your toiletries have to be kept on the counter. Housekeeping appeared to loose interest in us as the week progressed. The special snacks were only restocked the first four days No more M&Ms or pringles chips . I suppose that’s just for the newbies! "

"We recently stayed at the adults-only Heaven section at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya and overall, the resort itself was good. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is fun, and the adults-only vibe made for a relaxing getaway. The room amenities were very nice, modern, and well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything clean and refreshed during our stay. However, we were very disappointed with a major issue during our trip. We lost power from 2:00 AM until 5:30 PM for two out of the three days we were there. This significantly impacted our experience. With no electricity, we were limited on drinks, couldn’t properly use our room, had cold showers, no lights, and even had to get ready using a flashlight. To make matters worse, many of the restaurants were also closed due to the power outage, which greatly limited dining options during our stay. It was frustrating to lose so much usable time during such a short trip, especially when we were looking forward to enjoying everything the resort offers. While the resort overall has a lot of potential and the accommodations themselves were comfortable and clean, the extended power outages and resulting closures greatly affected our experience and overall enjoyment. We hope this was an isolated situation, as the property itself has the foundation for a truly great vacation."

"This place was great! Honestly, we read the bad reviews of this place too, and I would fully defend against them and/or didn’t agree with them at all. I would say the negative ones say more about the reviewer than the resort. The room was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was professional, hardworking, and sweet. The food and drinks were very good, and the nightly entertainment you’d be lucky to see! I will recommend this place, and come back some day for sure! "

"When booking this stay I did not know it was an apartment and asked for a refund because l was traveling solo and did not want to book an air bnb. The owner denied me of my refund stating it says it in the booking, but it did not state this info. Also they did not provide any face towels. I was told they lived next door. For sanitary reasons and since they live close I did not think getting a face towel would be an issue and was told they aren't a hotel (which I thought l had booked). They advertise the pool in the photos, but you do not have access to it staying in room number one. The walls are very thin and l could hear all the noise from the neighbors and could not sleep. I left after the first night because of the noise. I went on vacation for peace and quiet, but this was not the right place for that. The place was clean. The location is good. From past reviews the owners will have a rebuttal, but this is my honest opinion. This was not the stay I was looking for. "
