The people of Houston were wonderful!! The food was good! NOT THE MEXICAN FOOD THOUGH. We tried two places. Bbq and seafood were great! We went to Hand and stone Spa wher a couple of lovely ladies pampered us! We went to Papdeuxs and had a good time.

I may not have liked my stay at Baymont but I love Houston! I got to see more things. Jazzy Sundays at the Park was great! Downtown Houston was great! I enjoyed the food at the Turkey Leg Hut and Trill Burgers! I'll be back in Houston in due time!

Lots of vegan places. Diversity in Houston is incredible. Driving in Houston takes effort as it has so many freeways crisscrossing. We visited the Holocaust memorial and it was an experience to be had. Lots of information. We learned a lot.

Houston was a pleasant surprise. I have connected a dozen times through both airports, but never ventured downtown. It's actually very pleasant, clean, and without the hordes of homeless that are now a main stay of most North American cities.

Clean, beautiful downtown area. We loved the MLb games at Minute Maid Place, the Houston Space Center, & the city tour on double decker bus. We rode the trams to & from the games 3 times & felt completely safe & the trams very clean.

I am a West Texan who moved to New England a year ago. I was very happy to be back in Texas, and in Houston. There's always so much to do and so much to see. Though the traffic can get bad, it's never as bad as the northeast.

Houston has many cultural features that are on a world class level. Music, ballet, art museums, galleries, shopping, and amazing food. A car is pretty much a must unless you have a really specific area of concentration.

Must go to The Pit Room for BBQ. Wait in the line- it's worth it. Ostia has an amazing cesear salad, Poison Girl bar has great top shelf whiskey, random. Taquieria Monchys for handmade tortillas/breakfast tacos.

We enjoy coming to the College Baseball Classic at Minute Maid Park each year. It coincided with the Houston Rodeo this year, which is another exciting event. There's always something to do or see in Houston.
"There isn’t much around to do in the area, you definitely require a car to drive into town. It’s also very empty? Barely saw people in the day time.
Besides that, I wasn’t ecstatic about the serve homeless population in this area only reason it caught my attention was because it was visible on every single block maybe 4 miles in each direction. Didn’t feel super safe or willing to walk in town, also please note we are from out of state so this was super different for us to see.
Next time would preferably book a hotel in a more populated area. We really loved rice village area. "
