What an amazing experience! Although it's located in the heart of downtown, the area is calm and peaceful. You get a great view of the city from the porch. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was amazing each morning. It honestly felt like I spent the weekend at a relative's house. I highly recommend.

Lovely welcoming staff, beautiful building with wonderful communal areas. We enjoyed the outside verandah. It's in a fairly noisy location but this didn't bother us. Walking distance to local bars/restaurants, 10 minutes drive to Downtown. Oh and let's not forget the lovely breakfast!

Owners were very accommodating. They let my sister come get the key early to decorate the room for my wife’s bday. The staff was also accommodating. I don’t eat pork or beef so they made sure I had chicken sausage for breakfast. The room was very clean and we loved sitting on the balcony in the rocking chairs. They also have Tea Time where you get snacks and hot tea. And we absolutely loved that there is FREE wine (although we didn’t get any because we were out and about) I could go on and on, but I won’t. What I will say is WE’LL DEFINITELY BE BACK SOON!!

Lovely property that’s convenient to the Museum District, downtown, and other central Houston attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The delicious breakfasts by Chef Joseph deserve special mention, and we appreciated the free parking. Highly recommended.

Everything about this B&B was perfect. The owners and staff were all very sweet, kind, and welcoming, the breakfast was some of the best food I've ever eaten, and the room was extremely comfy. I would love to stay here again.

Joseph was the star of the place! He made the most delicious breakfast! The place is lovely, it just needs some deep cleaning. The carpet in our room was old and the outside of the bath tub was quite dirty. The light switches in the bedroom and bathroom need some cleaning. Over all it was a pleasant stay.

The staff were so friendly and inviting. The room was beautiful, loved the antique furniture! We loved how it felt like a home away from home! Tony was so friendly and helpful! Chef Joseph cooked an amazing breakfast! We had to leave earlier than breakfast is usually served, but Chef didn’t hesitate and offered to cook early. Can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back!

Everything at La Maison was perfect. It is a lovely property, very refined and comfortable. Everything was "just enough". We loved the balcony and the shower. We had a jetted tub (but did not use it). Pillow was a bit too firm, but the bed and linens were comfortable. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, and on a morning we had to leave prior to breakfast, the ladies had prepped a to-go Continental for us. The location is great. Close to downtown but not crazy crowded. The streets were noisy when outside (cars, ambulances), but we did not hear them while in our room. I was pleased to find we were supporting a black-owned, woman-owned, and privately-owned business. I will 100% look to stay here each time we return to Houston.

We were here for a 2 day stay for a wedding and were completely happy with La Maison. From our arrival greeting and check in with Ms. Tommie, to our large and quiet room, to the Urban High-Tea with Ms. Tommie, one owner - Ms. Sharon, and her sister, and to our delicious breakfasts we couldn't have been more pleased. They were so nice, the location is very central (with parking too), and we were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when in Houston!
