Excellent
Pretty surrounds, but not much in the way of walkable restaurants. With a bit more planning we would have managed to get dinner somewhere, but we tried to find a place at about 9 o'clock on foot, and were disappointed but had a great walk.

Good
Try the fairly near Cat Inn for a fantastic and reasonably priced meal. Careful on the backroads which are poor condition and can be tricky when dark and wet.

Good
Visited the Bluebell vineyard and woods and the British Wildlife centre. Both excellent and highly recommend visiting.
"Surprisingly excellent stay. Right in the South Terminal with access to restaurants etc. We were going to go into Horley for dinner but decided against it in the end. Very quiet despite being at the airport.
We were in a family room. 5 of us. It was huge. 4 beds including the sofa bed and 2 showers.
Perfect de-stressing to an early morning flight.
Only thing to be aware of is it's a BIG hotel. Takes a good 5 minutes to walk around to the room. "
"Good food. Possibly listing what gluten free options are available for your dinner options.
Had to ask the kitchen. Still great service. Staff were very accommodating"
"Bar food tasty, plus easy link to Gatwick south terminal. Didnt like the pillows, too soft. Would be good to have both soft and firm pillows on the bed."
