Staff very helpful on arrival and no problem about us arriving late. We had a very large room that had a sliding door between the two beds. Room was clean and fresh towels.

Omg. The young guy on reception needs a course customer service relation and that goes for the hotel owner. Id booked and paid for room over weekend 17th 18th jan 2026. I had to hand over bank details as they accuse you of being a hooligan and that your going to smash the room up.(£100) on good will. No good will feeling Im a security officer for gods sake. Had a phone argument with the owner regarding data protection protocol. Room ok. But dirty n there was damage so i dragged the receptionist round taking loads photos to prove that it was done prior to myself arriving. Left fuming . Room is a room. As was out most of the time but left feeling really unwelcome. Needs addressing.

This is exactly what I expected for the money I paid - I had a single room with the shared bathroom which was fine. Would’ve liked to have had an extra hand towel for when I went to the bathroom & a hairdryer in the room would’ve been good. The member of staff who greeted me was excellent - friendly & helpful. Showed me to my room & carried my bag. Answered any questions I had & checked me in with no issues at all. The room was exactly what I needed for a 1 night stay. If you are looking for a cheaper hotel room, I would recommend this hotel.

Room was really big but bathroom felt like crampy. Room and hotel were clean and immaculate. Hotel is good for 1-2 day stay only as there is no restaurant but food delivery apps work. Eias was great and polite helped us in every way. Thanks again.

Very easy to find. Lots of space for parking. Big Sainsbury’s Local literally opposite the hotel. Bus stop is 2 min walk. Bus to Gatwick is 6 mins (subject to traffic) - it takes longer to navigate the terminals. Customer service / front desk is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble - my case was carried from my car to my room, which was a lovely gesture. Was helped with bus timetables and was asked every day if everything was ok with the room or if I needed anything. Room was big, it was great having a sofa to sit on rather than the bed. Hot water every time I had a shower, plenty of toilet rolls in the bathroom and lovely white towels. Tea and coffee is generous and it was great having a mini fridge in the room. Will definitely stay again!

I'm in the area quite a lot for work and normally stay in the big brands, however last night I chanced my luck with LGI. After a horror story nearby a couple of weeks ago I was slightly hesitant, but shouldn't have been! The new owners know that the fabric of the hotel is dated and make no effort to deny it, instead being up front that they have a list of work to do, and the price reflects this. The hotel, including my room, was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and they're making the best of what they have available until their upgrades. It might not be flashy, but everything works, it's warm, it's cosy, it's comfortable, it's safe, the shower was excellent, there's plenty of free parking, there's a garage directly opposite, there's real radiators to dry your wet clothes on, there's windows that open, there's thick curtains that actually cover the windows, there's bottled water in the room, and best of all, it's the best customer service I've experienced for a very long time. I'll definitely be staying here again and have already reccommended them to colleagues. Also, if you're travelling, it's a 5 minute drive from the airport and not under the flight path!
