"While this stay lacks in the polished stays of a fancy resort it makes up ten-fold in charm and personality. This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. Located a mere 4 minute walk from the train station and a 1 minute from the beach this was the low key break we needed. The stay was clean with great amenities. The foot bath and soaking tub were great ways to end each day and the locality to nearby convenience stores made grabbing a bevvie...

"The homeowner very courteously met us at the train station and escorted us to the house. The house itself is a wonderful, nicely appointed traditional Japanese home, and quite spacious with a great kitchen and modern bathroom. It's an easy walk to the beach and to the train station, and there are plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. Ito is only one stop away on the train, with many more restaurants, and Atami is fairly close as well. Very clean. Highly recommended. "

"Very nice property. The home is very clean and rather spacious. Very close to nearby public transport which makes it very easy to get around. Location is rather walkable as well to other restaurants and coffee shops. Enjoyable more immersive experience to the neighborhood. There's a great little coffee house literally seconds away. Lovely amenities in the home. Personally loved the shower and large bathtub. The beds were good, but were very loud and creeky even with subtle movements. Since there...

Top Hatsushima Hotel Reviews

Yumoto Fujiya Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"No other comments."

RakutenSTAY FUJIMITERRACE HakoneAshinoko

8/10 Good

"Beautiful rooms and outstanding views. Lack of onsite staff hampers the stay however. Virtual checkin and concierge, results in no flexibility for luggage forwarding services or other services. Meal box options could not be modified or added to, which is needed given restaurants close very early. Although rooms come with complimentary juices, snacks etc, coffee pods are limited and not replenished four stays shorter than 4 nights. Same for room refresh and towels, which is a shame if your in a 2 bedroom suite with a family or adults couples. Would absolutely give them 5 stars across the board given the room and views, but lack of onsite staff and booking flexibility results in 4 stars, particularly for the price."

The Fujiya Hotel

8/10 Good

"Really nice historical hotel that has been maintained well. They offer the onsen experience and opportunity to get massages with their spa, zen treatment. I ordered desert at the tea lounge, unfortunately I didn't make a tea time reservation to experience the British tea. But I got the apple pie a la mode, the ice cream really paired well with it. Then I got the "angel" food cake which is really chocolate with the vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious but expensive. I'm not sure if it was overpriced. The Picot bakery is an extension of the hotel and share similar deserts. They also had croissants and pain au Chocolat which was good too."

SOKI ATAMI

10/10 Excellent
