"The property is beautiful, compact. Food is very good, the buffet has a wide selection of choices. Nice that you can walk forever on the beach in either direction. Found our room on the 4th floor on the inside area very noisy at night with the shows on. Would choose an outside room if we returned "

"The property is well maintained, and there is everything you need for comfort and relaxation but service lacks to some extent as they do the strictly minimum. Some of the valets are passive agressive and sometimes pool attendants ‘don’t see you’ for the longest time. The place is quiet from 10pm to 8am for those who want to recharge during their vacation. The food was really good. It’s on the beach so very convenient. I didn't like having people offering horse rides walking up and down the beach all day and not picking up after their animals. I also think such activities should be offered only in the morning when the temperature is mild. Another element I didn’t appreciate is that they ask if you’re celebrating a birthday or event at check-in and then completely ignore it. I was there for my birthday, mentioned it at check-in, to my concierge, at the restaurants the day of and did not receive a single gesture. Not even a slice of cake, message, decor or delivery to my room. That was unimpressive for 5-star resort."

"The host was lovely. When we booked this unit a year ago, we didn’t realize that this was part of an all inclusive resort. We are not all inclusive people as we like to explore the restaurants and bars in the nearby town. It would have been nice to have the option to be able to pay for a drink when we wanted to on the property but it was all or nothing. If you’re into all inclusive, then you will like it….our mistake.The unit was well located on the 6th floor, directly on the beach with an amazing view (probably the best in the whole resort) but it could use a facelift. New towels and bedsheets would be nice too. Otherwise, all good."

"Very clean, excellent staff, food is fantastic. Accessible pool. Very walkable beach and swimable ocean. If you want a chair beside the pool you will have to get up early to go reserve one. Staying at this resort also gives you all of the amenities of its sister resort right next door. "

"Very unaccommodating resort. We had two rooms with 4 adult kids (21, 20, 19, 19) and arrived at 9 am (Westjet) in the morning and they made us feel very unwelcome. They said we couldn’t get our all-inclusive wrist bands until noon which we understood but they actually chased all 6 of us off their property when we were down at the beach/pool which the front desk said was ok to be at as long as we didn’t drink or eat until we had our arm bands. When we went to go home, our flight was at 9 pm (Westjet) so we were getting picked up at at 7 pm by the prearranged shuttle… our flight then got delayed to leave at 2am. Checkout is at noon so our options were to pay 515 peso until 5 pm or 1490 peso until 6:30 pm. No other options… we were prepared to pay extra but it wasn’t even a possibility. One of our rooms toilets on fourth floor had to be plunged every day to let it flush. Resort is very tired. "
