"This property is pretty nice, the staff were absolutely fantastic. They really did a bang up job helping us with directions!! The bar staff was amazing, super friendly and fun. My only negatives would be they deactivated the wooden room keys and didn’t send out any type of notice. So, when we returned to the room late after a Yankees game, we had to go back to the front desk for new keys. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel 50 Bowery. It was easy to find and very easy to get a cab / Uber. The closest subway entrances are a 7 to 10 minute walk depending on where you're going. We felt the rooms were good size considering its NYC. They were very clean and housekeeping came every day except our last, but we didn't leave the room until around 12:30 that day so perhaps we just missed them. "If you’ve stayed at a Motel One in Europe before, then you know not to expect too much in terms of amenities. However, the room had everything we needed: a small fridge, iron, hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable and the room was bigger than expected; we were able to fit two large suitcases. Staff were very friendly and the location is great for transport, particularly if you’re planning on using the ferries. All in all a good experience."
