"Thin walls, fighting customers all night and smokiness in the room even though I had a smoke free room, I left could not stay the second day there went to a better hotel"

"Great place for some R&R and also close enough to the Strip for some Glitz and Glam! This hotel is great, I have stayed here many times before! Rooms are very spacious and quiet, food is great! We loved the pool as the weather was in the mid 90’s, the servers at the pool area work their butts off and do an amazing job! Also, we found the guests very friendly and many have stayed here multiple times. The Casino is also great to hang out in and not overcrowded. If you’re looking for a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the strip, this is it!! 10 min walk to the strip and the your pretty much in the middle of it when you get there. Also very close to the Sphere. Will definitely be back again! "

"Pay attention if you are staying in Encore to the North and South portions of the hotel. The south side on the 25th floor overlooking the hotel and toward the Sphere is awesome until Friday night when the outdoor night club by the pool plays very loud music with deep subwoofer. The boom boom at different rhythms prevented our sleep, At 2:30 a.m. the booming was still happening, after going on all day Friday, and the front desk offered us earplugs and suggested we close our drapes. This noise continues until 4:00 a.m. whether there are people there or not. When checking out, the clerk recommended staying on the north where it's quiet. Apparently, there are consistent complaints. Also, in the various lounges and bars, smoking is allowed. This hotel was highly recommended to us, but after getting 2 hours of sleep to rise at 6:00 a.m. for an outgoing flight, we won't be stying there again. Apparently the few folks that attend the outdoor booming bar are more important than the folks trying to sleep all the way up to the 25th floor! Expedia needs to put a disclaimer for these rooms on that side of the hotel. We ended up having to cut our trip short and for that we were grateful-trying to sleep with that noise three nights in a row would have been impossible."

"The pictures are not accurate for the regular rooms. Apparently there are nicer rooms that they used in the photos. The rooms were rundown, old, smelly and loud. The airport shuttle was not running the day we needed it. The location is not great - lots of shady people walking about. It’s not in walking distance of the main areas. "

"I wanted so much to give this place a good review. Things that we liked: Frig, coffee maker and microwave in room. No parties and it was relatively quiet if you can get past the noise from the planes taking off from the airport. It was walking distance to what we needed and there was plenty of free parking, I could even get past the uncomfortable bed for me, because bed comfort is subjective, but what was totally unacceptable was the total lack of hot water at 6 am when we were getting ready to leave for the airport. There was no time for the resort to remedy the situation for us. We had to take cold sponge baths and had greasy hair for our all day flight. "
