「We love the Hampton Inn at Carolina Beach! This was our second stay in a row and we plan on returning the same time next year! The staff is fabulous! We were graciously welcomed by Sharon at the desk, and while our rooms weren’t ready as we had arrived at 11:30am. 「Beautiful property and access to the beach. The pools were clean. The breakfast was great (waffles, muffins, cereal, eggs, bacon/sausage, coffee/juice). Unfortunately, our room by the pool had a constant leak through the concrete at the front of the room. The floor/carpeting near the door was constantly soaked and never dried. Room smelt like chlorine and the air was very humid even with A/C on. Room 122. Hopefully they will fix the leak because the mould will continue to spread, I imagine. The...

「This is a great value for a beach front stay. No frills. Nothing fancy. But it was clean and quiet. The parking is limited to one car per room; When I called ahead to ask about a solution to brining two cars, the clerk simply said “well you’re just going to have to cancel” I said, “no ma’am, my problem solving skills are better than that” and realized there’s paid parking directly in front of the hotel for the general public-problem solved. I paid $30/day to park my car there.」

「We have stayed here several times, and it has always been pleasant. The property is older, but is under renovation currently so be prepared for that. We called in advance so we knew the restaurant was not open yet, but if you didnt know that it would be disappointing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the bathrooms BADLY need renovating. The space could be much better oriented for showering and such.
