"Room wasn’t cleaned the best upon arrival. Found sticky fruit snack on floor by bed and 1 of our towels were dirty. Dust all over the back of toilet. The bathroom was also VERY small "

"Great location near Wachusett Mountain, which made it very convenient for a ski trip. The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable, which we appreciated after a long day on the mountain. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed that the hot tub was not working and the pool was freezing cold. The main reason we booked this hotel was specifically for the pool and hot tub for our kids. We didn’t receive any email or heads-up from the hotel ahead of time that the hot tub was out of service, which resulted in some very upset children. After swimming in the cold pool, we promised them a warm bath, but unfortunately the bath water came out brown, which was another frustrating issue. The walls are also very thin. We could hear people running and walking above us late at night and early in the morning, which made it difficult to sleep. We ended up eating dinner at the Colonial Grill. The food itself was good, but we were told the kitchen was backed up and expected a long wait. Ironically, the wait ended up being about an hour anyway, but after a full day of skiing it wasn’t really an option to pack the kids back into the car and go somewhere else. On a positive note, we spoke with a manager about the issues with the pool and hot tub, and they gave us vouchers for breakfast the next morning, which was appreciated."

"It is a bargain. It’s not great, but it is good enough. Friendly staff. Comfy room. I stay here often. Most vending machines are out of service. Decent self serve breakfast. Yogurt is the only protein. I wish they’d add peanut butter"

"A/C Filter had been cleaned, which the often are overlooked, thank you. A bit of a rattle noise, at times and controls somewhat confusing. Took a while to trust it was actually on at desired temperature. Staff: All decent, but one sour puss, from first confirmation call to actually meeting him. Needs to learn to smile and say hello. A stark contrast to remaining staff. Housekeeping: Had to remind a few to speak w/soft voice early a.m. while guests slept. They did. Desk nor head housekeeping has an envelope available nor can break a 20 for tips. Any House staff can pick it up; including one who never touched the room while I was there. Just sayin'. Get those tips to who deserves it. Return calls promises by same minimalist staffer mentioned above. Zero call from one of the front desk supers or the head housekeeper. I doubt he ever passed it on. Just my instincts. Done a lot of travelling by age 76. Otherwise a lovely stay. Will return"
