"The service is excellent, staff at reception spoke good English and very helpful. The cleaning staff do a great job with the room. Even after forgetting to place “clean room” sign they still replace towels and replenish amenities. I loved the location of the hotel, train stations a short walk away and 20 mins to Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ginza. There are plentiful of eateries and bars in the area. I would recommend to walk a little further out past Harry Potter cafe for nicer quieter restaurants and cafes but most cafes don’t open until 11am if you’re wanting breakfast/brunch. There is a 7 Eleven just across the road, and many more convi stores nearby. The laundry room need improvement, outdated machines and area doesn’t have seats to wait for washing. This was the only negative I could think of. I would recommend this hotel for singles/friendship groups and families. "

"There are plenty of 5 star hotels to choose from in Tokyo but we were glad we chose this one for our first trip to Japan. The room was comfortable and blended Japanese and Western styles and was serviced thoroughly every day. We made good use of the club lounge for breakfasts, snacks and drinks in the evening and had dinner one time in each of Origami and the teppanyaki section of Suiren, the fine dining restaurant. Each time the food was excellent and well-presented. What really stood out for us though was the staff. Each and every one was unfailingly polite, welcoming and helpful, with good English. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Tokyo next time we come. "

"Small cooking unit and washer/dryer in room. Rain type shower. Bar across the street or in front stays open late. Noisy patrons may disturb sleep. I don’t mind. Reminds me that the city is alive and well. The hotel is an excellent stay in mid-town Tokyo. Short walking distance to Tokyo metro subway stations. I really enjoyed that a pianist provided a one hour concert in the lobby, on Saturday evening. Pianist is scheduled to perform for three Saturday shows. Small lobby, limited seats, but cozy. Free coffee and tea, 24 hours."

"There was a strong grimy smell from the first room I went to. I smelled it right at the door. I could not step further into the room. I requested a change, the staff checked the room and gave me another room. I settled down in the new room for 10 mins and I smelled the human grimy smell again. This time I requested air freshener and they provided an air filter. The pillow covers smelled and I think the pillows too. I used the hotel towel to cover the pillow I was sleeping in. I had booked the hotel for 8 nights. 😑"

"Clean rooms, convenient location, still on the smaller side as is the norm for Tokyo but fine for myself and my partner. Metro stop is 2 min walk from hotel which made getting around the city super easy."
