East Side Waterpark Vacations

The room we were given was clean, but only had one mug and no crockery or cutlery (even though it was billed as having a functional kitchenette). The air conditioning was good and the beds were comfortable. The young man on reception was friendly and helpful, unfortunately, the woman receptionist was completely the opposite. When we asked for water for the room, we were told ‘we don’t provide that’. Our sheets weren’t changed, toilet paper wasn’t replenished and we had to ask for fresh towels and cleaning. On our last day we were able to leave our cases for a few hours, but had to retrieve them ourselves from the back of the service basement. The location was fine, but a bus and subway ride from the hub of Brooklyn.

Convenient location and helpful staff.

Our stay was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful . The room was much smaller than expected but it was clean. Also, there isn’t mini fridge or microwave, but there is a safe in the room. It’s in the middle of time square so there are plenty of things to explore without going too far from the hotel. Overall it was a pleasant stay if you want just a nice clean room to sleep in.

Very small room. Shower right at my bed might aswell be a jail cell. Also charge 30 a night for useless things.

This is a diamond in the ruff with the surrounding competition, location, service, concierge, exceeded all expectations.

Nice staff; decent breakfast buffet; for being in the Times Square are of NYC, I think it is a good value.

My room had been cleaned with something like industrial hospital cleaner, the smell was unbearable, caused a sore throat etc. Reception didn’t seem to care or offer a remedy. Air con was very slow to work. No natural light in my room as the window faced a wall. And although the room was clean, I found multiple dark long hair where they had just cleaned when I checked in. Bed was very bouncy, creaky, and old - like on an away camp. I guess it’s 2* so not sure if this is normal. But for the price and the photos made it look decent, I was super annoyed and even now I’ve checked out for onward travel, my clothes all smell like disenfectent from the room cleaning fluids.
